Many of our customers are aware that as pharmaceutical companies worldwide continue to increase the amount of information contained within their inserts, outserts, and medication guides, folding them down to size can sometimes become a complicated task.  Many binderies have issues with effectively closing the folded piece, reducing puffiness or air that may be trapped inside the outsert, or achieving finished sizes that are smaller that 1-3/8 x 1-3/8.  All folding issues that can be prove to be costly to the printer or end packager. 

At Miniature Folding Inc we have strived to keep up with customer demand by offering several compact folding options.  Using our state of the art outsert folding equipment we are able to neatly fold and spot glue up to 650 square inches per side of copy space into a tight package for convenient placement.   With the capability to fold up to 150 panels, we have resolved many of the issues commonly associated with thick folds. 

Miniature Folding Offers Solutions

• Using the combination of our wet scoring system and pressing unit we are able to produce crisp folds with very little air retention or spring in the folded piece.  

• Using our tear or non-tear fugitive glues we are able to effectively close thick folded pieces with ease. 

• At MFI we routinely fold pieces as small as 1-1/8 X 1-1/8, therefore, achieving small sizes has long been the foundation of our business.

Miniature Folding Does Its Part to Relieve Haitian Earthquake Disaster

Many Americans are familiar with the tragedy that occurred in Haiti on January 12, 2010.  The devastation and pain caused by this catastrophic natural disaster will forever alter the lives of thousands of people who made their home in this area.  In an effort to aid in the rebuilding process, Miniature Folding Inc has donated funds to a reputable charity organization that is dedicated to the rebuilding process.  MFI also makes an effort to improve its local community to donating to other causes such as:

• The Elmwood Park Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

• The Elmwood Park Volunteer Fire Department.
